|Rescue Me ID: 14-11-14-00097Pumpkin (male)|
I have had Pumpkin for almost two years now and he has been an amazing cat. Has 28 toes. However I am leaving for college in a year and I don't have the facilities to care for my cat, nor do I think it is right to leave him with my parents. I just don't have a lot of time for him anymore and its not fair to him. He is three years old, front paws declawed and neutered. He has always done well with a dog in the home, and is a very sociable cat and outgoing to family and visitors. Pumpkin gets along fine with the other female cat in the home, however it took time for him to get used to them. He is not aggressive just scared. Pumpkin stays in the finished basement and is indoor/outdoor. I have moved him to different houses and he has transitioned very well, no liter box issues or anything. I think he would do fine in a home with another cat if introduced properly. Please note however I will not just give him to anyone and if I do not feel you are the right fit for him I will not let him go. I would like to keep in touch with the family/ individual who does. Adoption fee does apply to make sure he goes to the right home and to make sure you can afford to meet his future needs properly. (Less)
